The Verticals

AWIN caters to advertisers from four primary verticals, and scores of sub-verticals. As an affiliate marketer, you can dive in the network to connect with companies and brands from four verticals, namely Finance & Insurance, Retail & Shopping, Telco’s And Services, and Travel. If you wish, you can further narrow down to sub-verticals such as credit cards, personal banking, clothing accessories, pets and pet care, dating, web hosting, car rental, hotels & accommodation and so on.

Functionality

If you are eager to explore the affiliate programs that are powered by AWIN, you should first ensure that you have everything that is required to join an affiliate program or network. As a bare minimum, you should have a website full of informative and value-adding content. To sign up as a publisher or affiliate marketer, go to AWIN official website www.awin.com. Click on the ‘Sign Up’ button which you will find at the top of your screen. After that, you need to go through these four steps to set up your account.

Account Setup – To get started, fill out all your business and personal information, including your name, email address and password.

Promotional Type – After that, tell AWIN what sort of promotional types you will be using. You need to expand each section and tick the check boxes.

Promotional Space – In the next step, you need to enter your website’s information and describe what your website is all about so that AWIN knows how you are going to promote different products. You need to choose from the verticals as well.

Verification – Once you are done with filling out all the details, AWIN will verify your promotional space by inserting a meta tag in your website. They will also charge you $5 (just for verification of credit card) and that amount will be credited back to your account later on. The entire verification process usually takes 48 hours or less.

Banking

AWIN offers payments via BACS direct credit, international wire transfer or ACH. They can pay non-UK bank accounts via international wire transfer, ACH, SEPA as well as domestic payments in NOK, SEK, DKK, PLN, CHF & AUD. You need to enter your payment details and duly publish the Payments Section form.

Awin pays publishers on the 1st and 15th of every month. In case you choose to be paid once in a month, you will get payments on the 15th of every month for commissions earned up to the 30th of the previous month.
