Kayak Affiliate Program
KAYAK’s White Labels, API Integration and affiliate network offer opportunities to propel your business forward. By partnering with KAYAK or by joining an affiliate network, you can take the next step in your business journey. Kayak offers solutions for sites of all sizes to help affiliates boost their revenue and provide customers with a product they’ll love.
Kayak affiliates are paid when the user clicks out from a search result (view deal) for hotels and flights. Kayak offers competitive commission on flights, hotels, cars, cruises, and deals.
The cookie length is 30 minutes/session window and click-outs only account for post-click conversions, not for post-view conversions.
Kayak does not pay out commission on:
- Error fare traffic
- Traffic over 2000 clicks with booking conversion below 1% per calendar day
- More than 5 click-outs from one user for each search within a session
- Any transaction that occurs more than 30 mins after the user is redirected to KAYAK
- Clicks resulting from users being redirected to KAYAK with incorrect tracking
- Click outs that happen on other KAYAK domains than Kayak.com
- Click outs on Sponsored Ads
KAYAK reports affiliate performance into the affiliate network platform daily, meaning that you can follow your performance only one day after you enable the placement on your site. Every day, Kayak automatically reviews the data to validate the transactions in accordance with the program T&Cs. For each Validated Transaction, they pay a fixed commission based on the device (with tablet browser being considered web).

Which travel affiliate program would you recommend? This is because I see that Kayak is not good.
No payment for leads
Kayak doesn't pay anymore for leads per click since last year. My experience is we cannot rely on affiliate program. Their software is very smart and you see maybe only 1% of what you really should earn.
Tested tracking, it failed, or worse
We promoted Kayak for months. We had plenty of clicks and leads, but no sales. We tested it by booking a room under an untrackable way. It did not get recorded. We did not receive any commission. We can only wonder how often this happens. We removed all links for Kayak. We do not believe they are properly paying for traffic.
Very bad quality and services
I sent then urgent email but they don't reply for ages, very bad quality and services.
Worst of Online Tourism Affiliates
They never replied to my emails. Maybe they don't have customer service either. Kayak is the worst affiliate program that I have ever seen (since 2001). There are leads but always with zero commission from the beginning. Since hotelscombined switched to the kayak affiliate program. In general, tourism is dead in most places, hospitality and dying. But zero is zero. Very unethical.
Always NO Payments, No Communication
Ever since hotelscombined switched to the kayak affiliate program, it has been a down hill experience.... Kayak has or no payments, and if they are late they don't bother to let you know ahead of time or apologize. They have a rally late payment schedule also, compared to other affiliate programs. You can tell they have no idea wat they are doing, and totally out of their domain.
